  • Band Camp Update – Thursday July 28

    Friday’s BAND CAMP THEME is U.S.A. so don’t forget to wear your red, white and blue!!! As always, please remember to hydrate this evening…your body needs the extra fluid to recover from this Florida heat! ☀️ Get a great night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast in the morning and we’ll see you Friday for Day THREE!!!!

  • Parent Meeting Tonight – July 26

    PARENT MEETING: 6:00 pm this evening in the band room! This is also the last opportunity to turn in ALL of your forms prior to the start of band camp!!! We look forward to seeing you all there!

  • Important Updates!

    Hello Shark Families! Please note the following information regarding upcoming events:

    PARENT MEETING:  Tuesday, July 26th – 6:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for Mr. Goff to go over important information, dates, etc. for the upcoming year. This is also the deadline for ALL required forms to be turned in!

    REQUIRED PARTICIPATION FORMS:

    CCPS Physical Form

    Travel Authorization Form

    Consent to Participate Form

    Medication Authorization Form

    Media Release Form

    Uniform Procedure Form

    All students MUST complete and submit all of the above required participation forms before the start of Band Camp. These forms can be turned in at our Tuesday summer practice, during our Uniform Fittings, or at the Parent Meeting on July 26th. New this year, is the CCPS Physical Form. This is different from years prior and will need to be completed for EVERY band student. This form requires a physician’s signature!!

    Students will not be permitted to attend Band Camp if these forms have not been submitted.

    UNIFORM FITTINGS:

    Whether you are a new or returning student, you must be fitted for a uniform. This is also an opportunity to purchase gloves, shoes, meal cards, spirit wear, etc. Band payments will be collected at this time. We accept cash, check or credit card payments for your convenience. Uniform fittings will be held on the following dates: Saturday, July 23rd: Freshman – 9:00am -10:00am, Sophomores – 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 25th: Juniors & Seniors – 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

    BAND CAMP:

    The Gulf Coast High School Marching Sharks Band Camp is rapidly approaching, and we’re looking forward to an incredible marching season! In the post below is our band camp flyer that includes information on the dates and times of camp as well as how your student should prepare and what they should bring to camp!

    Please review all of the linked forms below. All students MUST complete and submit all required forms before Band Camp.   • Sponsorship Package Now Available

    We are in full swing with our sponsorship campaign. Banner sales are a great way to get the community involved in our fundraising efforts. Download the sponsorship packet, take with you to places you patron and secure your sponsors!! 

  • Summer Rehearsal

    Summer rehearsal will take place 6:00-8:00pm every Tuesday in June and July except June 28. Leadership will meet at 4:30 on those days. If you are in town, you should be there.
